Diakonia’s 2023 Hero Campaign
Thank you to all those who contributed to our Diakonia Hero Campaign 2023.
We raised over $39,000!
Unsponsored foster youth, youth in the juvenile justice system, and other young people on the margins of our society are hoping to find a new path forward. Our program equips them with job skills, connects them with mentors and community support, and helps them gain access to living wage jobs. Those who donated helped sponsor close to 10 of these students at the end of last year. The total cost to serve a single student is approximately $4,200 and a donation of any amount helps Project Diakonia empower a young adult to forge a path toward success.
